eFax provides two pricing tiers: eFax Plus, which costs $15.83 per month and includes 150 pages for sending and receiving, and eFax Pro, which costs $20.83 per month and offers 200 pages for both sending and receiving.

It’s worth noting that eFax has separate limits for sent and received pages, which is different from some services that pool the total allocation. Any pages beyond the limit will incur a cost of 10 cents per page. For international fax sending, the cost varies depending on the carrier and fax number, with rates going up to 40 cents per page for Australia. Also, international faxes count as two sent faxes.

How To Setup eFax

Upon starting eFax, you have the option to select a fax number from 40 different countries, including the US, or to set up a toll-free US number. If you want to take your faxes with you or share them with others, PDF makes it much easier.

eFax Desktop Apps

The eFax desktop app is only available for Windows, but the web version works perfectly well on Mac. However, Mac users aren’t missing out on much because the desktop app is limited to sending faxes only. It doesn’t sync with the web version to display all of your incoming faxes.

On the other hand, the mobile apps are slick, and the iOS version is excellent if you want to send faxes from your iPhone or iPad.
